I had been thinking about getting a pair of the entry level Maggies for a change in my system also. I've been a little leery about having speakers stick out more in the room, so i've not moved in that direction yet. But yeah, if you have a lot of Klipsch to choose from, they tend to sound similar after awhile. Might need to start listening outside the box. SAHB

Altho my audio directory shows 1989 pricing for the following 2 items, the KG 2 & KG 4, the 1990 release of the KG 3 would probably be in the $300 each price range. I added a few other prices for other Klipsch to add to my word count. List prices as per the October 1989 Audio magazine. Price per speaker: KG 2 - $238 KG 4 - $339 Heresy 2 - $464 Forte 2 - $649 Chorus - $815 CW 2 - $819. It seems to me that the H2 & CW 2 hold their value quite well in 20 years.

There should not be any noticeable difference in the old or newer wire. I have used old wire, different gauges, thru numerous systems and have yet to notice any differences. NP - Pat Travers Live @ The Ritz, courtesy of Wolfgangs Vault

I'm going to try something a little different in this case. I will put these 5 discs in my spinner, hit the "random" play button, and hope for the best. That way, it still pertains to 2 channel audio - win/win. CORROSION OF CONFORMITY - In the Arms of God DANZIG - How the Gods Kill & Blackacidevil MONSTER MAGNET - Spine of God & God Says No p.s. Should be done in about 4 hours.

My ports are 4" wide and 2 1/2" deep. That would make mine a version 2.5 When I was fiddling around, I found that they are easily removable and now have 1" deep ports. I wonder if saving money on plastic was a factor in reducing the port length on all of the CF models. Productivity savings !

I see our local library is getting some of the stereo remasters in so I'll put my name on the waiting list as they come in and make myself a copy. I forced myself to listen to Revolver the other night and just confirmed what I already knew - not a fan. NP - UFO - The Visitor

I checked my CF-4 grills and the horizontal braces are nowhere close to rubbing the drivers. I'd probably look into using thin steel reinforcing material and either screw it or hot melt it to the brace.

Tried to. Visited Honda dealer on saturday 7-25. I wanted an orange Honda Fit Sport, but had none in stock. I gave them the choice of 3 colors, but after one callback on the 29th, salesman said they were still looking. In the meantime, CARS funds were in jeopardy til yesterday. I have not called back and may just end up waiting. The OTD price from Edmunds.com forums to look for was $17500 not including the discount of 4500. But the best I could do was $18250. I do not need a car in the summer, as

They're probably selling in the range of $200 to $300/pair in US Dollars.

No, haven't had any issues with ours. We pay off the balance every month. I have never considered to pay only the minimum payment. I guess that is what credit unions and banks are for: they lend people money, with no changes in payments and a fixed rate for the life of the loan. I don't know if you ever watch the Suze Orman show, but there are thousands of people who are in CC debt and can't do the math. Now, please tell us all that you have at least a 9 month cash emergency fund?
