Yep, Craing was my next step. Couldn't hurt to have him check everything anyway. jobman

The fuse on my 500c blew. I think with the recent heat, the reciever just got to warm, even though it is in a well ventilated space. I replaced the fuse, and power is on, but no output to the speakers. I tried a different pair of speakers, no sound. I tried headphones, no sound. Is there another fuse I am just not finding, or did I also blow an output tube? Thanks in Advance Jobman2000 Mike in Vallejo, CA.

I use the PW8R15AUD 15 Amp, 8 Isolated Receptacle unit for all my misc. components and HT system. I use the PW2RAUD 2 Receptacle unit for my 2 channel system with my Silverline 300b and my MF CD player. They have been the best I have used so far. No noise, no reduction in sound quality, no softening or veiling of the music. I tried several from Monster and one from PS (I forget which), but these are so far the best, especially for the price. I also have the 2 outlet unit plugged into a dedicated

I just installed the exact same Dish reciever on Sunday. I used the Toslink to my Marantz 8400, reassigned the input in the setup menu of the Marantz and I have great 5.1. I am amazed at all the programming that SHOULD be 5.1, but is only in stereo. Especially music programs. Jobman

If you can't get the Espressimo weight, may I make a suggestion? I have the Gooovetracer counterweight on my Rega P3 and RB300 arm, and it is awesome. (Thanks again for selling me the table Jazman!) Link: http://www.groovetracer.com/ The owner, Frank, is the kind of guy you can just pick up the phone and talk to about your setup and what you want to do. He even has a P3 in his lobby/office. His quality is top notch. I also have modified my P3 with his acrylic platter and subplatter. I was originally

I have actually taked to him, although I was not able to have him come out to my house or listen to his amps. He is VERY customer service oriented, and wants to make sure you get an amp that suits your room, your musical tastes and your ears. He offered on 2 occasions to come to my house to let me demo equipment. He is good at follow up and seems very sincere. I have recently purchased another 300b amp, so I will not be listening to his, but if I needed another one, I would certainly call him. Jobman

I am in the proces of upgrading my Rega P3 by rewiring the tonearm and putting the Shelter 501 on. I did all the reading also, and for me, it came down to the Shelter or a ZYX YATRA. Both around the same price to me. (The Yatra list for much more). I have already upgraded the the table by adding a new sub platter, acrylic platter and counterbalance, all from the GrooveTracer line by Promac. Local guy who does great quality work. Anyway, a lot of upgrades for a Rega P3, but I think it will take the

Chris: I don't have Sirius, but I have XM in my 2 cars and at home. I only use it for background music at home, not for serious (pun intended) listening. I also run it through my DAC. At home, I am just using an older, small SONY unit. I really like the Satellite radio, as I travel and drive quite a bit and never lose the station. I know POLK makes a standalone unit, and many new home receivers are now building it in. I bet the quality of sound would be a step up from what I have. It will never be

Great point about getting a new one for just $100 more, but perhaps at $100 less than new, it may be a bit easier admission into a great little tubed preamp for someone. My bad on the pictures, I took them out. jobman

I wanted to offer this to my Klipsch compadres here before selling on AudiogoN. I have a Juicy Music Merlin that I bought 3 weeks ago from the original owner in Washington. I REALLY like this little preamp, but I need more inputs, and I do not want to use splitters. I love the volume controls!!! A Peach will be in my future very soon! The Merlin looks absolutely new, (it pretty much is), and has the original tubes. Works just as everyone says it does. I can email pictures of the actual unit, with
