No experience with the Nak, but it rang a bell when I saw your post. These were the Rolls/Bentley of cassette decks. It's been so many years since I've heard a cassette. The Samuels amps sure look nice; the prices scare me though. I'd love to give a couple a try on my C3's. I've also had to boost the highs on the eq, but thought it was mostly because of my old ears.

Almost hard for me to believe that mine are nearly as old as yours and still performing well. I've replaced the sats with RSX-5's. I certainly have gotten my dollars worth of enjoyment from these, and though I have a larger Klipsch system for home listening, I usually end up sittting here at the comp with the promedias.
