Chris, I am interested in buying this receiver to go along with my new Kuro television. How do you like it so far? Do you have a source with a good price on it? Kudret

Are you familiar with X33ES? I have one and I was wondering if it would be worhwhile to do these mods on a X33ES? Kudret

Actually, much more than that. I pair I was watching sold for $1600. I have a single and I've been looking for a second one for a long time but couldn't find one at a decent price yet. Kudret

Allan, Nice to hear from you again. I am looking for SPUs without the transformer but they are very hard to find. The only other option is to buy the ones in need of repair and have them re-tipped. Do you have a favorite place for re-tipping? I tried Garrott bros but was not too happy. May be I didn't wait long enough for it to burn in - if there is such a thing. I had also contacted Wyndham Hodgson in the UK three years ago and I was quoted 250GBP for a standard re--tipping job. Kudret
I tried using EAC, but it really choked on some of my older more abused CDs and got to the point where it was taking days just to rip a single CD. It was probably user error, I just haven't had the time to sit down and figure it out. Maybe the more recent versions aren't so clumsy to use - this was several years ago. Do you have a work around for that, or do you just stick to the pristine CDs?
Mike, Here are some instructions for setting up FLAC/EAC

Danny, I have the CCGR versions on my SETH amps and I like them, except they are too expensive. Kudret

Larry, If I can verify that they will be long enough for 3/4"plywood I will give them a try. They are half the price of Cardas and it seems that they are at least as good. Kudret

Thanks, fini. I found them at partsconnexion for the same price and just ordered them. Kudret

I am looking for 4 pairs of long Cardas or similar heavy duty speaker binding posts -new or used. Kudret

Thanks for the suggestion Larry. I had a quick search the longest ones seem to be vampire #BP1.5HEX, however I couldn't find their dimensions. I need to install them through 3/4" plywood. Kudret
