Thanks for the response. I tried both of them, but it seems that it works in the headphone jack and not through my computer. I put an order in for a new control pod. Will this fix it, or am I just wasting money. The seller on Ebay is giving me the run around and I will probably have to wait a couple...

I just bought a set of ProMedia 2.1 Speakers off Ebay. Maybe a bad decision on my part, because they said they were brand new and in 100% working condition, but they were also cheap. Anyways, I have read through the forums and checked all of the connections and boards inside the sub and the control pod...

I have owned my 2.1 for four years now and thoroughly enjoy this system. As of last week, the wire that plugs into the woofer has broken yet again! My 3 rd occassion! this has become very frustrating. My current wire broke just 3 months' after my extended warrantee expired. After reading this sites comments...

Yes I have read all replies, all I have to say is I’ve been trying for 3+ months to get a hold of a replacement control pod. Your website is always stating “currently not in stock”, the demand is much greater then you admit when you can’t keep them in stock! If you search ebay there are bids for repairing...

After noticing through this forum that the customer service for the DIN cable was about as helpful as an intoxicated aardvark, I hit up eBay to see what could be done...for 20 bucks, I sent my speakers to user welshlady62, and they were sent back to me in about 10 days, fully repaired. The entire tip...

After testing my computer speaker set up every which way to figure out why I had no R channel, I finally Googled "GMX A-2.1 + troubleshooting," found this forum, and BINGO! My problem was a bent DIN plug pin. Gotta LOVE the internet. Thanks Amy! Prestodad

I bought a ProMedia 2.1 off eBay and the DIN plug to the sub woofer broke off and needs to be replaced. Can anyone provide me a wiring schematic so I can solder in the new plug? I am very anxious to hear these awesome speakers!

Is there anyway I can buy or make an extension for the cord that connects the speakers to the sub? I'd like to put the sub across the room, but it's way too far away for the normal cord to reach.
