  • now with my new Cornwall, needing a new tube amp?

Greetings all, I have become a proud owner of a pair 1982 Cornwall (upgrading from a pair B&W 601 S3). I love my Cornwall's minimalist looking and how they sound so far --- however I believe there's room to get much better sound out of them. This is my current set-up: (1) Apple Airpot Express...

Thanks James, Actually I just purchased and installed the HIII conversion kit and wow...really awesome. My GF has taken over the R?-52 stuff for the living room, so the Heresy's live in my lab/play room apparently they are now considered HIII's by Klipsch personnel, internally they are HIII's...

Sorry...I bought the conversion kit to make the Heresy II's to Heresy III's, it is truly awesome. The guts from my HII's are going into a pair of scaled down LaScala's and I'll be co promoting them with my Linux based digital media server. There really is nothing quite like the Heritage...

  • Re: Heresy Deal!

The best bargain I got was the HIII conversion kits. At $277 per speaker I got something new, more dynamic, more efficient and most importantly, better sounding than my H II's. Since my cabs are flawless, I'll get another 20 years out of them. the guts from my HII's are going into Lilscala's...

  • Re: Is Punk 30 years old?...and Clash reminiscing

When I was in college I got to see The Ramones perform in Roslyn, NY. As a young Ensign stationed at Little Creek I got to see the following band: Iron Cross (multiple times) Iggy and the Stooges Cro Mags The Dictators Patti Smith New York Dolls The Dead Boys Lou Reed Unatural Axe The Angry Samoans I...

  • Re: Digital Storage Question - Shhhhhhhhhhhh

ASIO drivers are built into all of the Creative Soundblaster X-Fi products, which will do 24 bit/96 Khz, the problem may be that your preamp/receiver may not be able to handle more than 24 bit/44.1Khz, I had this problem with my new Yamaha RX-V661, so I had to slow down to 44.1Khz, at 96Khz, my receiver...
