A couple days later, I hooked it up and the left speaker didnt work, I suspected wiring so I switched the wires and checked and now neither speaker works. Looking at a couple of options I opened the sub and found a blown...

  • RPW-10 Blown Fuse and components.

I have a RPW-10 that blows fuses when power is applied. When I pulled it apart I notice that the Indigo BASH amp has a few blown components. On the primary side of the power supply the NTC and one of the switching IRF730 mosfet is blown. On the secondary side of the transformer one of the MUR410 diode...

Dear Stayhye, I read your post on the Klipsch website--you were looking for a 125v 2.5a fuse for your ProMedia GMX computer audio system. I have have the same problem, and wondered if you ever found a place that sells that particular fuse. Thanks a lot, Dave

  • rpw 10

I have an rpw 10 sub and wonder if anyone knows the fuse size. This does not seem to be published on the internet or in the Lkipsch manual. The size from the old fuse cannot be identified. Any help? The equivalent radio shack size would be helpful. Thanks

  • La Scala Questions

I purchased a pair of La Scalas a few years ago with all the money I could scrap together (I'm a poor college student). Recently, however, in unrelated incidents both of them have fallen in combat. I have identified the woofer as the issue in one for sure, but the other is giving me problems. I don't...

  • KSW-10 not working

Hi all, new here (as my post count will show you), but I've had a Klipsch Quintet system for a while now with a KSW-10 on it.  Every once in a while the KSW-10 would suddenly stop working.  I would usually just unplug it for 5 minutes or so and plug it back in.  Unfortunately for me this trick didn't...

  • KSW-12 Fuse Holder Replacement

This is my first time posting to the forum, but I couldn't find another post on this already. I've had my KSW-12 sub for a few years, recently it blew the fuse. When I pulled the fuse out I discovered that the fuse was stuck in the grey plastic holder/cap. In the process of trying to separate the fuse...

  • 4.1 System is fried...should i fix? (with pics)

Well, after 4+ years with my nice 4.1 system it has finally bit the dust. Should I bother trying to fix this or not? Below are some pictures of what has happened. Has anyone else see this before? Before I finally found the fired circuits I browsed the forums and everyone said to check R12, R26 and the...
