  • A Audio newbie that recently purchased a Kiplsch Heresy H-WO...what should I do?

    Hello Guys, I recently purchased a Klipsch Hersey H-WO floor standing speaker this past weekend. The sound was amazing until my receiver blew (Old 90's Onkyo receiver). I don't know much about audio equipment but I want to purchase either a new receiver or amp. What are your recommendations?...

  • Why does my amp cut out?

    I have a 25 year old set of Heresy speakers that have performed flawlessly. A couple years ago, I was forced to change amplifiers to a cheap 80 watt unit and noticed that when the volume was turned up 2/3 of the way, the reciever woul just shut off.     I agree...I get more joy out of three hours of Muay Thai than I get out of any speaker. My mom has 1962 KHorns, I own a new RF/RC/RW system, I like it better than my Heresy II's, regardless a speaker system to faithfully reproduce movie and music soundtracks, which it does. full stop.     Sounds like it, this morning I just bought a pair of RB51's to go with my RF-52's and RC-52, I won't go into power or how I'm driving my receiver (spdif from computer). This Klipsch thing is like chasing the dragon, you never catch it, but you come close. My system is in a 12x8x10 room...
