A book fell off the back of my computer desk and landed square on the pre-amp plug going into my subwoofer. For a while, my right speaker would cut out and I was able to jostle the plug to the point where the sound could come back. It was a constant battle to get the sound to come out of my right speaker...

I just bought a set of ProMedia 2.1 Speakers off Ebay. Maybe a bad decision on my part, because they said they were brand new and in 100% working condition, but they were also cheap. Anyways, I have read through the forums and checked all of the connections and boards inside the sub and the control pod...

Hello! This is my first post within this community and I would like to thank you all for the opportunity. I have read through most of the forum and decided it was time for me to join! I recently purchased a PM 2.1 set that has been used...however it was hardly used. The seller claims that whenever the...

When I used to use my computer to drive computer speakers, I bought two pair of the ProMedia 2.1's, stacked the woofers on top of each other and put the satellite speakers on stands, truthfully, it blew away most home stereos. Now I use an Soundblast X-Fi Extreme audio card, a soundblaster digital...

I'd be skeptical about anything except lowering impedance, by going with a 14 gauge wire or 14-2 twisted pair. I had a monster cable for SPDIF, darn thing worked for about 1 month, cracked, then I went and bought a $30 cable which has worked like a charm.

Dude, how does Klipsch know they aren't hot ? You bought them through an unauthorized dealer, who did anybody's guess with them. Klipsch has always been forthcoming and helpfull with me. You try to get Bose or any other major speaker manufacturer to service a product not bought through an authorized...

This is a follow-up to my original post. I was able to find the correct Radio Shack fuses (Part Number 270-1064). These also blew as soon as I powered on the subwoofer. A call to tech support at 888-554-5665 was promptly answered. I was informed the problem was the amplifier inside the subwoofer and...

So I bought the KLIPSCH 2.1 system and the subwoofer appears to be broken is there anything I can do besides by a whole new system. I'm not the original owner but does that mean I'm screwed?
