A book fell off the back of my computer desk and landed square on the pre-amp plug going into my subwoofer. For a while, my right speaker would cut out and I was able to jostle the plug to the point where the sound could come back. It was a constant battle to get the sound to come out of my right speaker...

Dude, how does Klipsch know they aren't hot ? You bought them through an unauthorized dealer, who did anybody's guess with them. Klipsch has always been forthcoming and helpfull with me. You try to get Bose or any other major speaker manufacturer to service a product not bought through an authorized...
