  • Re: RC-64 as LCR?

We have had some people do an RC-64 in L/C/R configuration. It should work extremely well. I had thought of designing a shallow profile version of this for "on the wall" applications with flat panel TV's. The cut off would be much higher. Depending on the box it might be 125-150 Hz but...

  • Re: Looking for a center channel replacement to go with KLF-20's

Thanks for the input everybody. I just sold my receiver and my new one doesn't come until next week so I will have to wait to test the Phantom Center channel mode. The replacement will be a Pioneer Elite SC-05. I am pretty familiar with timbre matching. I thought that the RC Series of center channel...

  • FS: BRAND NEW in BOX Klipsch RC-64 Center Channel Speaker

As the title says...this is a BRAND NEW IN BOX Klipsch RC-64 Center Channel. I got a great deal on one, so I had to buy two. As you know the MSRP is $999.99, and on average you can get 20% to 30% off that price. The build date on the one that I am keeping is Sept. 30, 2008, so I would assume this one...

  • Re: Will an Onkyo TX-SR805 be enought to power an RC-64 and will that be a good center channel mate to my RF-82's?

I have already bought the SR805, so my current set up is left and right with RF-82's and for the surrounds if went with the 52's. I finally go the guy to hook up the 64 and 62 with the 82's. The 64 carried a lot more information compared to the 62, plus it seemed to have a much wider sound...

  • Re: RC-84?

You folks all bring up some great points. Most of this discussion is quite accurate. Jay even got it right! Those Custom-3’s must be doing their job. There are several things to consider for LRC designs. Here are some rules: 1. Most dialog comes from the center channel. That is where the image...

  • Want to buy!!! Need rf-82 rf-63 rf-83 rt10d rsw10d rw12d denon reciever

I already have the rc-62 and rs-42's. I am looking for a set of floorstanding speakers and a sub. I also need a good quality reciever. I may want the rc-64 if it is really cheap. I am located in Minneapolis MN, but would be willing to drive and pick up if the deal is good enough. Thank you for your...

  • Re: Im a NoOB! Help!!!

Personally I'd always go Reference series over Synergy, they cost more and they are worth it. Can't go wrong with the RC-64, but it would be nice to have a pair of RF-63's standing on either side of the tv. In the Klipsch world we tend to spend lots of money, and the room isn't that big...

  • Re: RF-82 vs RF-63 for both 2ch and HT

[quote user="tbongiorno"]Wow! You guys are sure making this decision difficult. I really want the RF-63, but with the discount that I was offered on the RF-82, makes this very difficult. If this dealer would just sweeten the price a little bit more that the standard 15% that every store gives...
