  • RF-62 vs RS-62 as rear surrounds?

Hi all, this is my first posting to these forums. Got a pair of RF-62s a few months ago, demo models on clearance at a local London Drugs for $638 after tax. They sounded great both at the store and in my living room. My room is about 21' long by 18' wide (about 3,500 cubic feet), with the speakers...

  • WF-35, WC-24

So the speakers are set up, been playing them almost constantly for a week, and...I find myself missing my RF-63s, which I'd paid $1000 less for ($1075 clearance vs full price for the WF-35s), and which needed a sub less than these guys do. Yup, I'm kicking myself. Sure, the WF-35s look better...

  • RF-63 preamp and amp opinions?

Hi, There are a couple of RF-63's in the post for me. However I do not have a decent 2CH amp ready. I was thinking Rotel RC-1070 + RB-1080. Other suggestions so far: Parasound NC2250 Midgard Oberon 6.1 Parasound Halo 23 As this is THE klipsch forum I thought I would get a second opinion. My music...

  • Re: Stores

It is the "big box" stores like Best Buy that have brought Klipsch to New England, so even those of us with $$$$ to spend are wise to go to the "big box store" where there are bound to be a few young hotties to look at as well as our favorite products. Best Buy will have all the names...

  • Re: RF-82 vs RF-63 for both 2ch and HT

They are both excellent choices, there is an online dealer (http://www.universallcd.com) in NY that will get you the RF-63's for $1499.99 and the RF-82's for $799 a pair, that's quite a price difference. Like all things sonic, it comes down to which you like better http://www.universallcd...

[quote user="tbongiorno"]Wow! You guys are sure making this decision difficult. I really want the RF-63, but with the discount that I was offered on the RF-82, makes this very difficult. If this dealer would just sweeten the price a little bit more that the standard 15% that every store gives...

  • Re: Chorus II vs La Scala II

I just purchased a pair of the RF-63s and an RC-52. As a long time owner of the Heresy II's, I can honestly say I prefer the reference series, they don't have that Klipsch "sound", but on the other hand, they really give a tremedous, wall of sound that my more efficient ( 1 db ) Heresy's...

  • Rf-3 or Rf-63 and the RT-10d Subwoofer

I have a pair of RF-3's (250 watt continous version) and just got an RT-10d subwoofer. A friend wants to sell me some RF-63's. Would the RF-63's be better than the RF-3's for listing to music (no home theater)? Any opinions?
