  • Re: Trading my rf-83 for heresy III?

I dunno, as an owner of both RF and Heritage series, I wouldn't give up the RF-82's for Heresy III's. Yea the new Heresy is using the tractrix horn tweeter, but it would be sad to think that Klipsch couldn't come up with something better in 60 years. I look at the RF series as evolutionary...

  • Re: As of December 2007 where are Klipsch speakers manufactured?

[quote user="jimmy4300"]On the flip side of that coin. My wife has a Toyota Camry. Camry's are made in the USA and Japan. If you were buying one, what would your choice of origin be? Both models are designed in the same place and are supposed to be the same. Well, I chose the one made in...

  • Re: As of December 2007 where are Klipsch speakers manufactured?

Amy, you have convinced me...I am selling my "Red" Reference speakers, maybe I will get the conversion kit and I will for sure keep my Heresy II's, a descendant of a proud tradition. In over 20 years of service to my country I don't believe I ever used a Chinese made product. My Dell...

  • Re: Bose?

Years ago I purchased a pair of Heresy II's after hearing the Bose 901. Recently I purchased an RF-52/RC-52 system, while at the gym yesterday I noticed the really good bass line and dispersion of the Bose Acoustimass 5 system and I hate to say it, but to get that kind of bass I am going to have...

[quote user="pauln"] Having analysed systems and technology professionally for many years I can add something to the list of disparities; in the US and most Western countries the use of software is licensed. Big companies use a tremendous amount of extremely expensive software to not only design...

  • Re: NFL..TaDa

Please, the fight doesn't always go to the strongest, nor the race to the swiftest, but it's a good way to bet". As a transplanted Californian, who has been in New England, for some time and have watched as we transformed into a football state, between The Patriots and BC, it's quite...

  • Re: What are some of your hobbies besides Klipsching it up here?

In 22 years of US Naval service, I never really fell in love with a firearm. I like my K-bar better. So what does a 49 year old, retired guy do. I build Linux machines for custom orders, I fight Muay Thai and I still wrestle (Freestyle) every week. Ok, so I wrestled Jr. High through College...I could...

  • Re: OT: Is Taiwan still doing any tech business?

I think MSI is still Taiwan, but labor...who knows...the Taiwanese have always been happy to exploit cheap labor, which is why we have two battle groups in the South China Sea, just in case China gets unruly.

  • Re: Who's dealing with finals :(

Not me...I took the US Navy for twenty....totally worth it. Hey, If I had got dead, I wouldn't have to worry about health care or retirement benefits.
