  • Thanks

I just wanted to thanks everyone who answered all of my questions I've had in the past few months. The feed back has been incredible and something I look forward to counting on in the future. My next projects will be recovering my Heresy's along with converting them from II's to III's...

  • Crest Audio 4001 Amplifier Troubleshooting

I have a amp by Crest: "Professional Power Amplifier", Model 4001. I have schematics, but have never troubleshot an amp before. Is there anyone on here willing to offer guidance and/or advice as I make this attempt? Diagnostics: Right channel works, Left channel doesn't (constantly in "protect"...

  • Anyone rebuilt carver or other SS amps?

I have a few Carver amps that function fine, but are getting up there in years and I'm sure could benefit from some cap replacements and possibly some upgrades? Just wondering if anyone can offer any information or advice. They are m200t's and I have a stack of them, so having decent soldering...

Hello! I'm new to Klipsch and I'm enjoying this forum. Well after 20 years I decided to upgrade my Polk bookshelf speakers to the RF-82s! (And I have! A christmas present to myself). They are beautiful! A little bit lacking in the mids but hoping they break in nicely. My question is should I...

  • I bought a pair of Klipsch KG 4.2 speakers and was wondering if I need to replace my amp.

I finally purchsed my first pair of Klipsch fllor speakers speakers. I've been using smaller klipsch in my HT for years. I picked up a set of KG-4.2's which are used with a Panasonic SA-HE200k 6.1 Home theatre systems. The thing I notice is that I don't get much sound from the horns unless...

I just wanted to say thank you for the info on the guy (Henry) who does the upgrades. I sent my sub circuit board panel to him for the upgrades. • Re: Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1 5

I am happy for you for getting a great price it pays to shop around. Klipsch speakers are great speakers, but they do have a flaw from manufacturing where they produce to much heat in a enclosed box. I would suggest going to this link and buying the upgrade kit so you will have many years of great sound...
