  • Thanks for the advice!

Sorry I took so long to reply. I actually got into a car accident the day of your reply and have been super busy car shopping and the likes since then. I will more thoroughly check the DIN as you suggest, and also inspect the sub amp board for discoloration and then update this post. Wow...hope I can...

  • Promedia 5.1 to Yamaha RX-563 Receiver

Greetings All, This is my first time posting here and I am doing so because I am having some troubles. I have had a Promedia Ultra 5.1 system for the past 5 years now and have only used it with my laptop(with a creative sound blaster audigy external card). I now am out of college and am in the process...

  • Promedia 2.1 sattelite trouble

I've had my Promedia 2.1s for a few years now and love them. Everyone who has ever been to my house and hears me crank them at all (usually no more than 1/3 of usable volume -- that's from my motherboard integrated audio) wants them. They recently stopped working. I'd had some trouble with...

  • iGroove suddenly stopped working

My iGroove has worked flawlessly for a little over a year, and then suddenly will not produce any sound. Green light turns on and off, just no sound. Ipod still works fine on another dock so it is not the ipod. There doesn't appear to be any way to easily open the unit to check for a fuse. Any ideas...

  • iGroove Connection Issues

I am on my second refurbished iGroove. The connector to a 120 GB Classic seems to keep having problems- static, no sound, intermittent sound. This is the second one (they sent me another under warranty). I have an appointment to check the connections on my ipod, but it works fine on the dock at home...

  • Mystery: iFi stopped working. iGroove lost sound on one side.

Though it had gotten light use, I had been a happy iFi owner for a year, when I bought my boyfriend an iGroove at the Apple store as a birthday gift last Feb. iFi: The subwoofer on my iFi stopped working shortly thereafter for no apparent reason. It was plugged into a surge protector and was used once...

  • Re: One of my iFi speakers doesn't work!

Wow, the same thing just happened to me ... I'm here to ask the same question. I tried all your troubleshooting items, and there's one more thing I tried: Only one channel works regardless of whether I'm playing an ipod through the dock, or if I'm using my computer's line out as the...

  • One of my iFi speakers doesn't work!

Hi, I'm having trouble with my right speaker on my iFi. It just stopped working one day. Here's what I did so far to troubleshoot, but I'd love your help: 1. Turned on and off the system. Result: no changes. 2. Switched the cables from the left speaker and right speaker. Result: no sound...

  • Re: No sound. Any ideas?

Amy DOES NOT a valid point. When you buy a product from a "trusted" manufacturer, you expect it to work and it should work for longer than the warranty. The Klipsch Pro Media Ultra 5.1 system is a bad product, and Klipsch knows it - it is prone to failure and they (the Klipsch company) provide...

  • Subwoofer only works @ high volume - Tried replacing MOSFETs

Several months ago I woke up one morning to no subwoofer volume even though I had clear, full volume sound from all 5 of my satellites. After shutting the power off to the amp for approx 10 min it worked again with no issues until the next day when it had the same problem. This continued to get worse...
