  • My First Home Theater

Hi, This is my first post as I am new to this community. I am planning to buy 5.1 speaker set up for my room size 15' x 12'. I will use it 50-50 music/ movies. My prefernce in sound is mids with clear highs along with tight bass. Finaly after checking many I decided between synergy F3 and Reference...

  • Family Photo But Some of Them are Missing

Have any of you seen my RP 5's, RSW 15, Velodyne 1512, KLF C7, RC 3, SABA 1240's, RS 7's? I've really lost it and moved all of the gear to the basement while I remodle the upstairs and figured I would just hook it all up and play. This is the worst addiction that I've ever had, but...

  • Speaker matching for RF82 and RF62 setups

I have narrowed my purchase selection to either RF82 or RF62 left and right speakers. The limiting factor to my setup is the center speaker. I unfortunately have to go with RC52, rather than RC62 due to dimensions; RC62 is too big. I'd like to go with RF82s but is this too much of a mismatch with...

  • Reference line discontinued?

I keep reading posts about some of the speakers from the reference line being discontinued and on the Klipsch facebook page a employee said the RT-12d Subwoofer had already been discontinued. I'm about to piece together the rf-63 set-up and worry about it being discontinued and not being able to...

  • RB vs. RF vs. THX Ultra 2's???

Hello Klipsch Forumers! I'm new to the Klipsch forum, but I've really enjoyed reading many of your posts and have found there to be, what appears to be, a very well educated bunch of "friends" here. Very cool! I'm in process of assembling plans to finish my walkout basement. A large...

  • RC 3 v. RC 52 or RC 62

I am in the middle of updating my speakers. Currently, I have a 5.1 set up with the following: Power: Marantz SR 5200 (just used as a preamp) Adcom GFA 555 (powering fronts) Adcom GFA 545 (powering center) Adcom GFA 545 II (powering rears) Speakers: Center - RC 3 Front - KSF 10.5 Rear - RS 52 II (brand...

  • KLF-C7 vs RC-64

I'm currently using a KLF-C7 with a pair of Forte I's for my front soundstage. I know it's not ideal in terms of timbre matching, but I previously had an Academy and actually prefer the KLF-C7 because my ears prefer the extra clarity and openness over the Academy. I'm now thinking of...

  • Re: Upgrading system, could use some help here.

In that 12x12 room a 5.1 system of the RB81 would be more than wonderful. Keep the Sub 12 and ditch the other 2. Forget the 7.1 and use the money to get a nice multi channel amp = Emotiva. That's what I would do. If you want towers for the front, budget the next one up RF62, either way you'll...

  • First HT Setup: surround placement & more

Hello Klipsch-o-philes. I'm in the early stages of planning my first HT (5.1 for now) setup and am looking for input on some newbie questions. Having fallen in love with a friends Reference Series speakers I'm looking go to with the following for my roughly 12x28 space: 2 x RF-82's in front...

  • Matching RF-63s & RC-64 w/ RS-42IIs?

I ordered some RS-42's online through Amazon but they sent me RS-42 II's instead. Should I be concerned about matching these up with my RF-63s and RC-64? I'm under the impression that timbre matching your surrounds is not as important as the fronts and center. Thoughts are appreciated. Thanks
