    Last week we had the demo at our place of the Rega/NAD amps. Source was an Olive O3HD. It wasn't really a succes. Mids and Highs were allright, it sounded like he placed a center speaker, voices seem to come from somewhere in between the RF7's. Bass performance was poor, I must say. I had the...

    It's already been a while since my last post, and I haven't been able yet to make some time to get to the Parasound store. But meanwhile, the other dealer (the NAD guy) just made me another proposition: a Rega Cursa 3 (pre amp) combined with 4 (yes, four) Rega Exon 3 (monoblock, 125W@8Ohm). Tomorrow...

  • Suggested amps & sub for a pair of RF-7 ii towers.

    Now that I have upgraded my speakers to a RF theatre set up, I can now see why my Yamaha RX-v2700 receiver isn't worthy for these beasts. I am in the process of figuring out how to upgrade the entire amp set up, and would like to get any input from folks with the RF-7ii towers and what they have...
