• Re: New Reference Line?
Why do the new Reference series weigh less than the older ones? The RC-64 is like 11lbs lighter, why?
Does anyone knows why the new II series speakers are lighter? Is it because the wood has been changed say from MDF to Baltic Birch or something on those lines...

  • Re: New Reference Line?

@Amy, Or any other Klipsch employees, I would like to see some BOTTOM pictures of the RB-81 II to checkout how it can mounted. The description says that the mounting holes are at the bottom but there are NO PICTURES on the website. Also the RC-64 II shows the same image when you mouse over it (i.e. it...

  • Re: New Reference Line?

@Amy, Thanks for all your replies. Can you get me the following information too? 1) What is the official mount for RB-81 II that allows mounting these speakers on the wall and allows for Pan & Tilt motion. I am not able to find any mount that uses 2 holes for mounting. The Omni Mount uses 4 screws...

  • Re: RF-7II vs. Classic RF-7

Can't speak on rf7 classics, but I just took delivery of 2 RF-7 II's and an RC-64 II and I must say I am amazed at the sound. The bass, the clarity, the efficiency, the look, the horns, etc. Everything about them screams quality. Not harsh at all. Will post pics later today...

  • Re: Largest "small" speaker

I just received a ED A5-350 sub Tuesday night and find these posts very helpful. I have a RC-62 II, RS-62 II and a 14 year old pair of KG 4.5s for the fronts. I am considering replacing the KG 4.5 to match the sound of the RC-62 II and have asked myself the same question. Thanks again for everyone sharing...

  • Re: RF-7

KP, The speakers inside of the cabinits literally move back and forth to create sound waves in the air. Like moving your hand back and forth in the bathtub, the same principals apply here. Think of sound as waves in the water and plan accordingly for unimpeaded waves with no reflctions bouncing off of...

  • The Making Of A New Klipsch Fan In Hollywood

Over the course of my life, other than getting an occassional autograph from someone, I've had a minimal amount of contact with people considered famous. The first occured in the late 60's when I was a 12 year old Boy Scout and my troop was summoned to be official chaperones for TV's "I...
