Greetings All, This is my first time posting here and I am doing so because I am having some troubles. I now am out of college and am in the process...

  • Promedia 2.1 Amp

I bought a 2 year old system off of someone for $50 and everything was working. A couple days later, I hooked it up and the left speaker didnt work, I suspected wiring so I switched the wires and checked and now neither speaker works. Looking at a couple of options I opened the sub and found a blown...

  • Re: promedia ultra 2.0: sometimes no sound

I posted on this a few months ago... Thanks to the good folks on this board, I found the DeOxit solution. After removing the 10 screws (at least 2 too many) the rest was simple and the full volume control, crackle-free sound, and quality audio was restored -- for a while. After about a month left on...

  • Crackle sound in Pro Media Ultra 5.1

I have had this speaker system for about 4 years now, great system by the way, but recently I have been having a little trouble. My center speaker has been emitting a "crackle" sound on top of the audio that comes from the speaker. Once in a great while it will sound crisp with no issues what...

  • Re: Promedia 2.1 left channel doesn't work sometimes

I have the same problem but with the right speaker. I'll plug in my old speaker set and viola, both work. What's up with all these Klipsch issues? I'm starting to feel like they're not the company they once were. Talk about a bunch of hassle over computer speakers. Don't we spend...
It's the feed not your system.
Hi oldtimer, Thanks for your reply. Short and to the point! :-) After two more days of fooling around with different settings, it sems that any receiver setting that relies on Dolby Laboratories for the sound output, the sound...

  • Re: ProMedia Ultra 5.1 completely dead

Five minutes after posting this complaint I got a note from Elliot saying he was sending my amp today and provided a tracking number. I've edited out the details and will report back on repair after I receive it. I also had a failing Promedia Ultra 5.1 sub and based on recommendations in this message...

  • Klipsch promedia 2.1 static when adjusting volume

Hi, I have a Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speaker set for my computer (and it's fantastic!) that I've been using for well over a year. I got it second hand from a friend of mine, and it performs extremely well, but we've both experienced the following problem: When adjusting volume with the volume...
