  • HELP! Sub 10 died from power spike

    I own a sub 10 that was damaged when the power was knocked out by an ice storm back in december. I had several other items that were damaged also as the result of a power surge. I have a good tech here locally but it would be much easier if he had a schematic to work with. If anyone has access to one...

  • Sub 10 Dead

    I bought a sub 10 at the end of October and it died a week before Christmas. It would go into standby (Turn red) and when the receiver turned on it would turn blue but would not make a sound. I hooked the RCA going into it up to another speaker with rca input and did a channel test and got a signal....

    Thanks for the article. I couldn't tell a big difference between the two and I don't know what makes a down-firing better or worse than a front firing so I went by spec and price. I am using it on hardwoods so maybe there would have been more of a difference in a quieter room. Any ideas on placing...

  • Sub-10 vs. RPW-10

    Anyone have an opinion on which one is an overall better sub. These both fall into my budget and seem on paper to satisfy my needs-which is mostly movies and a small amount of music. My fronts are RF-3 II. Yamaha receiver. Smallish room (15x18) I know a lot of people have opinions on front vs. down firing...

  • SUB-10 thermal fuse

    I got a blown thermal fuse (TH2) on my SUB-10. I just need the spec/rating or part# so I can buy it from a Radio Shack or Fry's or any electronics store. Thanks.
