I have the chance to get two subs for my home theater. I have 3 sub in total and whatever i do not use in the main home theater will go to my quintet sl set. Here is the setup for my home theater. I want to add either another Sub-12 or have the current sub -12 with a sub-10. I would like some opions...

Hooking up a Sub 12 to Onkyo TX-SR706

Hey folks, just gettting into some of the better equipment Baught the Klipsch Sub 12 along with the 3 series speakers. Everything went great as far as the speaker hookups, but I can't figure out where to hook the Sub to the receiver or which terminals (on rear of Sub) to use. Any help would be appreciated...

2 JBL's vs. 1 Klipsch

Ok, so here's my setup... Recever: Onkyo TX-SR605, Front Speakers: Klipsch (Synergy) F-3, Rear Surrounds: Advent Pearls No center speaker, but the F-3's create a very good "Phantom" Center in my opinion. Anyway, my question is would it be better to go with 2 JBL SUB-12's or 1 Klipsch...

Fellow Klipschers, would like your feedback-opinion on optimum set-up for Synergy Sub-12. My Yamaha CA1000 doesn't have a sub-out, so after much research on the Web, I decided to use RCA Y-cables at the pre-outs - one end of each RCA Y goes to L&R main-ins, other ends go to L&R ins on Sub...

Sub-10... should I upgrade?

My Sub-10 started making a high-pitched noise with very little bass output. I opened it up to find a group of brown spots on the amplifier board... not good. A new amplifier from parts costs $160. Do you think I should put that $160 towards an upgrade? Which is better... the Sub-12 or the digital RW...

SW 15 or Sub-12 w/Forte II's

Hi, been lurking awhile, first post.... Looking to add a sub & have an oportunity to buy a sw15 or a new sub-12($350) any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated also in the market for an Academy center, as I've read, it's the best match for the Forte II's thanks...jay >pre-amp...

ksw 200 - Lightening Strikes

I took a lightening strike to my home and it killed my prized KSW 200 subwoofer. Am I safe in assuming that I probably just need to replace the amp board? If so, does anyone know where I might begin to look for such a part? Thank you!

Updating the amp had crossed my mind, but I still enjoy my older equipment and do not want to part with them unnecessarily. Then again, nothing lasts forever, right? Anyway, thanks for your response.
