  • Matching Sub?

Good Evening, Please forgive my question if it is stupid or if it has been asked a million times before. I currently own a Harmon Kardon Amp 3385 2 x 80w. (nothing too impressive, but it works for my stage in life) I also own a pair of Klipsch f1 floorstanding speakers. I love the sound of my setup,...

  • Re: Need some opinions

No way, go with the RF-83, maybe an RC-64 in addition, the center channel does add presence. As a guy who has grown up with Heritage series equipment, I see the RF series as a serious step in evolution. As an owner of both Heritage and RF series, I prefer the RF series for listening. Geez, the Cornwall...

  • Re: P39 or Jubilee's---------HELP!!!!

I agree...I get more joy out of three hours of Muay Thai than I get out of any speaker. My mom has 1962 KHorns, I own a new RF/RC/RW system, I like it better than my Heresy II's, regardless a speaker system to faithfully reproduce movie and music soundtracks, which it does. full stop. It neither...

  • 2 JBL's vs. 1 Klipsch

Ok, so here's my setup... Recever: Onkyo TX-SR605, Front Speakers: Klipsch (Synergy) F-3, Rear Surrounds: Advent Pearls No center speaker, but the F-3's create a very good "Phantom" Center in my opinion. Anyway, my question is would it be better to go with 2 JBL SUB-12's or 1 Klipsch...

  • THX Subwoofer Placement - Standing Waves and how to deal with them

This is a new thread on proper subwoofer placement according to THX standards. Some of the info in here will get pretty in depth, however, see the "6 spots to put a single subwoofer" to help you out. I will also mention dual sub, and quad sub configurations.

  • Re: Heritage home theater (again)

After listening to the new Icon series at BestBuy yesterday, I really must register my dissapointment with them. Sure they have high output, although not relative to my Heritage series stuff. I bought a sub-10 to go along with the HIII's in my little room, the sub-10 carries everything below 58 HZ...

  • iFi vs. Promedia 2.1

Hey everyone, I've been a big fan of Klipsch products ever since my first Promedia 2.1 system that I bought four or five years ago. Currently, I own two Promedia 2.1 systems, Image X-10 headphones, Custom 3 headphones, and most recently an iFi system. I've always considered the Promedias to be...

  • Promedia 5.1 busted... pls help.

All of a sudden they went out with a funny noise. Now I can turn them on and off, the numbers on the volume move but I only get a whistle out of them which doesn't get louder or lower with volume settings... the high pitch whistle also seems to pulsate and if I wait several seconds there is a different...

  • Re: Khorns with Sub

Try it you may like it. Seriously, Khorns are very amplifier-sensitive. Run with a good compatible amplifier they don't need a sub and you will get the advantage of their very tight, fast, full bass. My challenge though has been running them in a three-channel audio setup with a Belle center, ergo...
